Serama Chickens - American Variety

The Serama is a bantam chicken of Malaysian origin. They have been in the USA for around 25 Years. 

This beautiful chicken is considered the smallest and lightest of all chicken breeds in the world. They are very small and weigh only a few ounces, but they have a big heart. 

They are very delicate, so we don't offer them as day old chicks and they are not sexed until they are juvenile. We do sell them as baby chicks but for pick up only until they are juveniles then we will ship. If picked up as a baby chick, we prefer the customer have some experience brooding and raising baby chicks. 

They are tiny and need to be kept separate from large fowl chicks which will be at least twice there size at hatch and will outgrow them quickly making it difficult for the Serama to compete for food. 

We offer juvenile chicks and adult roosters, hens and breeding pairs. They make great indoor pets and can be kept in a large bird cage or small pen. They are super friendly and can become great pets if handled often.
